Ex On The Beach star Jemma Lucy opened up on a terrifying experience last year when she suffered from a devastating ectopic pregnancy that could have killed her.The reality star revealed that she could have died when she was hospitalised in December with mystery pains.
She has now spoken out about the reason she was in hospital and sadly confirmed it was due to an ectopic pregnancy. According to the NHS: "An ectopic pregnancy is when a fertilised egg implants itself outside of the womb, usually in one of the fallopian tubes." Speaking about the terrifying ordeal, Jemma said doctors warned her that she could die if her pregnancy ruptured.
She told The Sun: "Doctors told me that if the pregnancy ruptured, I could die so they wanted to take me in for emergency surgery.
I was terrified of going for the operation and never waking up. I didn't know what to do, and every minute was like a ticking timebomb".
