In the peak of the New Year revelries, the cherished BBC North West weather presenter faced a grave ovarian cancer diagnosis on New Year's Eve.

Just 10 days later, Dianne would die. Now, in the days before the sixth anniversary of Dianne's death, her family continues to raise awareness of the insidious disease in the hopes of making sure other sufferers detect it as early as possible.

Through the Dianne Oxberry Trust, which was set up by the broadcaster's loved ones after her tragic death in January 2019, thousands of pounds have already been raised to the cause.
