This is full statement from West Yorkshire Police as the investigation gets underway into the Bradford house fire that killed a mum and her three-children.

A 29-year-old woman named Bryonie Gawith died at the scene. Her three children, nine-year-old Denisty Birtle, five-year-old Oscar Birtle and 22-month-old Aubree Birtle were taken to hospital where sadly all three died from their injuries, West Yorkshire Police has confirmed this afternoon (August 21).

A 39-year-pld man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He was critically injured in the incident, and detectives have described it as a 'domestic-related' incident. Multiple enquiries remain ongoing today by the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team (HMET) into a fatal house fire which took place just after 2am today (August 21) on Westbury Road in Bradford," a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police has said this afternoon.
