Events to look forward to in Trafford for 2025

From performances from the 'godfathers of punk' to cricket events at Old Trafford, there's something for everyone. Here we take a look at what's coming up for the borough in 2025. Some 36,000 people are expected to take part in the Adidas Manchester Marathon on April 27.
Entry into the event, which starts and finishes at the Emirates Old Trafford stadium, home to Lancashire Cricket Club, is now full.
The exact route of the marathon has yet to be confirmed but it is expected to take in Altrincham, Sale, Timperley and Chorlton among other outlying Manchester districts.
Cricket lovers also have plenty to look forward to as the Old Trafford stadium hosts the England v India women’s T20 on July 9.
