Evan Rachel Wood is speaking out in response to the lawsuit that her former boyfriend and alleged abuser Marilyn Manson has filed against her.
It was reported two weeks ago that Marilyn is suing Evan for defamation over the sexual abuse allegations she made against him.
He also claims that she impersonated an FBI agent. Evan made an appearance on The View on Monday (March 14) to discuss her new documentary Phoenix Rising and she responded to a question about the lawsuit. Click inside to find out what she said… “I can’t, obviously, speak about any of the specific allegations of the lawsuit, but I am not scared,” Evan said during the interview. “I am sad, because this is how it works, this is what pretty much every survivor that tries to expose someone in a position of power goes through, and this is part of the retaliation that keeps survivors quiet.
This is why people don’t want to come forward, because this is — this was expected.” She continued,”I am very confident that I have the truth on my side and that the truth will come out, and that this is clearly timed before the documentary.
