While the winner's identity has not been made public, it was reported on Tuesday that a Scot admitted to being the lucky ticket holder, in a mysterious letter which was sent to a Bargain booze shop in Mersyside.
Residents and shopkeepers in the seaside town were convinced the historic ticket was sold in their community. But a Paisley resident who claims to be the winner of the historic jackpot, sent the hand-written letter to the shop to clear up confusion.Whether the letter holds any truth is yet to be confirmed.
However, National Lottery operator Camelot could neither confirm nor deny the location of where the winning ticket was purchased.To win tonight's ridiculous jackpot, players must match five main numbers and two Lucky Stars.
