Ryan Hoyle, who works as a joiner, was told of his EuroMillions win at 6am on Saturday morning April 18 when he clicked on an email from The National Lottery titled simply ‘You’ve Won'.
38-year-old Ryan would normally pick up his tickets in person but has been playing online to obey social-distancing rules, reports the Mirror.
The self-employed joiner from Rochdale, Greater Manchester said: “I always wake up early and was sat on the edge of my bed but couldn’t work out what I was looking at."The email linked to my account which looked like a lot of numbers and I thought it might be millions but I couldn’t believe what my eyes were
