On Friday (August 16), it was announced that the Schitt’s Creek actors, who are both Emmy winners, will be hosting the upcoming awards show, which will be airing live on ABC on Sunday, Sept.
15 from the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live in Los Angeles. Eugene, 77, and Dan, 41, will be the first father-son duo to ever host the awards show. Keep reading to find out more…“For two Canadians who won our Emmys in a literal quarantine tent, the idea of being asked to host this year in an actual theater was incentive enough,” Eugene and Dan shared in a press release. “We’re thrilled to be able to raise a glass to this extraordinary season of television and can’t wait to spend the evening with you all.” Nominations for the 2024 Emmy Awards were announced back in July with Shōgun and The Bear leading the pack for most nominations with 25 and 23 honors, respectively.
