Esther Ranzten apologises for swearing live on air twice in incredibly ironic blooper

Dame Esther Ranzten had to apologise after dropping a swear word not once but twice on Chris Evans' Virgin Radio breakfast show.

The journalist and presenter, 80, said "b******s" twice, forcing Chris to step in and tell her she wasn't allowed to say that word on the radio.

The irony was that she was telling a story about a time Good Morning's Britain's Susanna Reid was forced to apologise for her after she swore on air.

Her faux pas came when she was appearing on the show today and after she'd apologised for accidentally saying "bum" while reading out a web address for her new podcast, That's After Life!
