Escape to the Chateau stars Dick and Angel Strawbridge have seen a huge increase in their showbiz careers over the last year despite the long-running reality show being axed from screens as it has been revealed they've made a whopping £670,000.The British couple rose to fame back in 2015 when the Channel 4 show first aired as it followed their journey in restoring a French castle they had purchased whilst also juggling being parents to their two children.According to reports in the Mirror, it has now been revealed the pair have raked in a colossal revenue from their three companies, TShirt Patisserie Limited, Chateau Television and Jera Enterprises across the last 12 months.It comes less than a year after it was confirmed that Escape to the Chateau was axed after its ninth season and wouldn't be returning to screens for a 10th running following claims of undisclosed conduct concerns.A Channel 4 spokesperson said last month: "Following a review, we have taken the decision not to work with Dick and Angel on any new productions in the future."Two Rivers, the production company behind Escape to the Chateau, also confirmed that they would "no longer work with Dick and Angel" but refused to comment further.Out of the celebrity couples' three businesses, it was their TShirt Patisserie Limited that saw the biggest spike in value increase in the past year, more than doubling from £270,000 to £688,000.
Meanwhile, Chateau Television's worth more than quadrupled with an increase from £50,000 to £286,000, and their third company, Jera Enterprises, was boosted by £13,500 to an eye-watering £470,500.
