Erik ten Hag reiterated Manchester United are 'going in the right direction' when speaking at an event following the 2-1 win over Brentford in the Premier League.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe met with United's new football structure in London during the international break and Ten Hag's future was discussed after the club's worst start in Premier League history.
However, Ten Hag survived and oversaw a 2-1 victory against Brentford on Saturday afternoon thanks to second-half goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund.
Brentford took a 1-0 lead on the stroke of half-time at Old Trafford, but United showed character to complete a comeback shortly after the hour mark.
