Erik ten Hag is reportedly 'convinced' he will be able to persuade Frenkie de Jong to join him at Manchester United. The Netherlands international is Ten Hag's number one target this summer.

De Jong is reportedly not keen on a move to Old Trafford given the absence of Champions League football, but United are nevertheless pressing ahead with their interest amid Barcelona’s wretched financial situation. They add that he wishes to make De Jong a key cog in his rebuild although Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Bayern Munich are also watching closely.
Barcelona chiefs are reportedly split over whether they should sell De Jong, but a deal may be done soon if they ultimately decide to show him the door.
