Eric Clapton’s ‘Unplugged’ Special Set For Theatrical Release In U.S. & UK With Bonus Content

27 and Tuesday, Jan. 28, ahead of its streaming release on Paramount+ Wednesday, Feb. 12. Eighteen-time Grammy winner Clapton originally recorded his hour-long performance of Eric Clapton Unplugged in 1992 at Bray Studios in Windsor, England.
The extended remastered edition will feature exclusive content of Clapton discussing the inspiration behind specific songs and performances with the crew just before he took the stage, which is integrated with performance footage.
During the performance, Clapton reimagined his catalog with first-time acoustic arrangements of hits including “Layla,” “Tears in Heaven,” and more.
