Manchester City and Real Madrid played out a thrilling 3-3 draw in the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final tie at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday night.

City, who have been drawn against the 14-time winners three seasons in a row, took the lead inside two minutes in the Spanish capital after a crafty free-kick effort from Bernardo Silva.

Madrid, though, struck back immediately when Eduardo Camavinga's shot deflected off of Ruben Dias to wrong-football Stefan Ortega just seconds before Rodrygo slotted home to complete a 2-minute comeback for Carlo Ancelotti's side.

In the second half, Phil Foden continued his exceptional recent form of late with a stunning equaliser for City before Josko Gvardiol put Pep Guardiola's side ahead as the game headed into the final 25 minutes.
