Richard Keys has demanded the Premier League to stop players from making holes in their football socks after spotting Conor Gallagher with torn socks during Manchester City's 1-1 draw with Chelsea on Saturday evening.
Lots of footballers wear socks with holes because they think it can stop them getting hurt. They believe the socks are too tight and could cause a muscle injury.
Many players therefore cut holes in their socks to make their calves feel better. This includes players such as Gallagher, Jude Bellingham, Bukayo Saka and Manchester City defender Kyle Walker.
Of the opinion this trend should be stopped in its tracks, Keys took to social media to express his disapproval.
