Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter. She is known for narrative songs about her personal life, which have received widespread media coverage. At age 14, Swift became the youngest artist signed by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house and, at 15, she signed her first record deal.
Her 2006 eponymous debut album was the longest-charting album of the 2000s in the US. Its third single, "Our Song", made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. Swift's second album, Fearless, was released in 2008.
Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

The Borestone Crescent takeaways’ upstairs neighbours, Don Ritchie and Carole Ann Marshall – who have lived in their flat since the 1990s – had complained that their lives had been turned upside down following the conversion of the Falcon Bar into Black Rooster Peri Peri and ChurrosNChill.The couple’s concerns include the noise from a large flue, cooking smells and rowdy behaviour from customers at a rear dining area following the installation of seats and tables underneath their terrace.Black Rooster Peri Peri and ChurrosNChill have been operating from lunchtime to around 10pm seven days a week.Following complaints from the couple, the retrospective planning application – comprising subdivision and change of use from public house (sui generis) to class three restaurant and takeaway, installation of two flues and the formation of an outdoor seating area – was lodged with Stirling Council in July last year.Click here for more news and sport from the Stirling area.That application was rejected in December in a delegated decision by officials stating it would ‘have a harmful impact on the reasonable residential amenities’ on the couple’s Borestone Crescent flat and to the wider local area citing ‘cooking odour, noise and disturbance.’Following the decision Mr Ritchie spoke of his “relief” as the operations had “a severe negative impact” on the couple.Black Rooster franchise operator Richie Wilmot senior had said last year: “We want to make our neighbours’ lives as comfortable as possible, while at the same time our business continuing to trade.”The Observer has previously contacted Mr Wilmot for
