Employees who are still working from home can claim expenses from the government to help cover their household bills and more.

As millions of workers remain at home across England, many are being reminded that they may qualify for a £26 payment from HMRC to help with monthly payments.

While it may not sound like a lot, it could go towards a supermarket shop or mobile phone bill - and could save those who are back home full time a reasonable amount over the next few months.

Back in April, the government introduced a new coronavirus expenses scheme for those who were forced to work from home due to lockdown.
