'Emotional' Linda Nolan 'astonished' after results of health treatment for chronic illness

Linda Nolan has said that she was left "astonished" following the results of a new treatment for lymphedema, a condition she is currently battling.The long-term (chronic) condition causes swelling in the body's tissues.

It can affect any part of the body, but usually develops in the arms or legs.The 63-year-old singer and TV star says she has been "plagued" by lymphedema after undergoing a hysterotomy for breast cancer in 2006, writes The Mirror.Taking to Twitter, Linda tweeted: "Had another great day today, trying out a brand new lymphedema treatment."I’m astonished by the results and a little bit emotional.
