Juan Mata dedicated the goal he scored on what could be his final Manchester United appearance to his mother, who passed away in March.

Marta Garcia sadly passed away after a long illness, with the Spanish international allowed time away from United to visit family in Spain and mourn the loss.

Mata, whose contract expires this summer, was likely to have been making his final appearance for United on the last day of the Premier League season against Wolves at Molineux, where a much-changed United XI won 2-1 as he found the net with a penalty.
