Last week's episodes saw Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) unveiled as the mystery man being held hostage in an abandoned farmhouse by Cain and Caleb in Emmerdale last week.
But fans have been unimpressed by his return and say his behaviour is not the character they came to love. He was tied up in the farmhouse after Cain and Caleb kidnapped him in Italy to save him from the Mafia.
Aaron - who went off the rails after the death of sister Liv - was said to have picked a fight with members of the criminal organisation.
