Emmerdale fans were astonished as Layla Harding's vicious stalker's identity was finally revealed on Monday night. Layla had been left terrified when someone had set up a fake dating app account in her name using her pictures.

A man called Gaz had been messaging the account and arranged to meet her, and he turned nasty when he bumped into Layla and she said she had no idea what he was talking about.

Believing she had simply changed her mind about the date, Gaz threatened that not many men would take no for an answer. Liam Cavanagh then dumped Layla when the account was brought to his attention as he believed it was real and she was cheating on him.
