Emmerdale's Amy Walsh 'honoured' after making admission in candid Insta post

Emmerdale star Amy Walsh has said she is 'honoured' after being given an unexpected boost on social media. The actor admitted, in an Instagram post, that she often finds herself stuck 'doom scrolling'.

The 37-year-old revealed she sometimes finds herself filled with envy. Alongside a photo of her trying to catch the remnants of some sun in her garden - in which she could be seen with her eyes covered by a pair of shades - Amy wrote: "Me scrolling through Insta getting body envy at everyone's holiday pics thinking, 'Why don't I look like that...'" But in a very reliable move, she followed up the post with a screenshot of her tracking her Domino's order. "Also me!" Amy said. "On a Wednesday night," she added with a string of emojis including a face palm and clinking champagne glasses. Amy, who is known for playing Tracy Robinson in ITV's Emmerdale, revealed she'd won an award. Taking to her Instagram Story, the soap star, who is the younger sister of Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh, shared a post from the National Film Awards (NFA) which confirmed she'd picked up the 'Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series' gong for playing Tracy in the Dales. "Awwwww I'm soooo unbelievably thrilled to accept this award and soooo gutted I couldn't make it to the ceremony!
