It has been rumoured for a while that the actress, known for playing Bernice Blackstock in the ITV soap, will be saying farewell to the fictional Yorkshire village this year.
But Samantha has now been able to confirm herself that she will leave her role, 25 years after her first appearance as the divisive character.
Not much is known about her exit from the soap, but she did confirm when she'd be leaving during an appearance on This Morning on Friday (October 20).
She was on the ITV daytime show Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary to discuss her interest in and love of witchcraft but towards the end of their chat, she was asked if she was leaving the soap.
