Recently, Joe, portrayed by Ned Porteous, made a dramatic comeback to the popular ITV soap after six years, being unveiled as the brains behind financial advisor Pete and Will Taylor's plots against Kim.
However, the plot thickened on Christmas Day when, following a dispute with his wife Kim, Will suffered a fatal heart attack.
The couple were set to renew their vows, but Joe unexpectedly showed up, exposing their scheme, leading Kim to request a private conversation with Will.
During this discussion, Will, who had attempted to abort the plan and tried to rationalise his actions, was devastated when Kim dismissed his justifications and announced their marriage was over.
