Emmerdale fans respond as Beth Cordingly speaks out on exit claims amid plans for loved-up reunion

Emmerdale star Beth Cordingly has responded to claims that she's leaving the Dales behind in search of pastures new amid rumours of an exit.

Fans of the ITV soap were introduced to Beth earlier this year as she took on the role of Ruby Fox-Miligan, and the actress has recently posted a video on her Instagram "addressing some fake news".

Beth updated her followers and denied that she was set to leave the Leeds-based show behind in a video. She said directly to her followers: "I just wanted to clear something up, because loads of people keep contacting me and saying, 'Oh I hear that you're leaving the show'", before adding that there's "some sort of fake news" going round. "For the record, if I'm allowed to say this, I'm not leaving the show at the moment – as far as I know".
