This is due to ITV's coverage of the Live Women's International Football, which will air from 7pm until at least 10pm. Emmerdale usually airs weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV and ITV X, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays, while Coronation Street is broadcast on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV and ITV X.
This scheduling change comes at a crucial time for Coronation Street viewers, who are currently engrossed in the Joel Deering murder mystery storyline.
Initially, police suspected that Joel, portrayed by Calum Lill, might have taken his own life after disappearing from the cobbles when his heinous crimes were revealed.
