Emma Faulds is set to go ahead next month. Ross Willox, 40, is accused of killing the 39-year-old in Monkton on April 28, 2019.
Willox denies the accusations.A previous trial had been postponed due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.The Crown Office on Monday confirmed a date has now been set for April.The trial is believed to be before Lord Mulholland.A further preliminary hearing is expected to take place before then this month.Emma was last seen in Monkton on April 28 and her body was found six weeks later.The youth worker was found in Galloway Forest in Dumfries & Galloway in May.
