Eminem Explains His Past Rihanna Comment & Why He Publicly Apologized to Her in 'Zeus'

Eminem recently called into his SiriusXM channel Shade 45 and spoke with SiriusXM’s Gray Rizzy about his decision to publicly apologize to his former collaborator Rihanna.

If you missed it, in late 2019, an alleged, unreleased Eminem song was leaked on the Internet. In the leaked audio, a brief snippet called “Things Get Worse (Rihanna Diss),” Eminem says: “I’d side with Chris Brown, I’d beat down a b-h too,” seemingly referring to Chris and Rihanna‘s 2009 physical altercation. Eminem‘s rep actually responded to the rumor at the time, but about 13 months later, Eminem released a public apology to Rihanna in the song “Zeus” on his new album Music to Be Murdered By – Side B.
