Emily Andrea says young children shouldn’t have to wear face masks: 'It’s hard enough'

Take That’s Howard Donald took to Twitter recently to vent his frustration after his four-year-old son was refused a haircut because he wasn’t wearing a mask.

Under the current rules, children under 11 years of age don’t have to wear one. Emily Andrea has now had her say on the matter, insisting that as a doctor and a mother of young children, she agrees with Howard's stance.

Writing in her latest column in OK! magazine, Peter Andre’s wife Emily – who has Amelia, six, and Theo, three – said: "I wouldn’t be too impressed if I took Theo to the hairdresser and was told he had to wear a mask, so I don’t blame Howard for being annoyed.
