Locals have reported an a ir ambulances was the area but it is unknown if there have been any casualties at this time. Police remain in the area blocking traffic as drivers are being urged to find alternative routes.Roads are expected to stay shut down 'for some time'.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash involving two vehicles on the A96 between Huntly and Inverurie around 4.20pm on Tuesday, 6 April."Emergency services are currently attending and the road is closed."Traffic Scotland said: "The A96 remains CLOSED in both.
