Emergency services raced to a busy Paisley street this morning after reports of a building on fire. Gilmour Street is closed between County Square and High Street due to the fire believed to be in the flats above the Bankhouse pub.The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to the blaze around 5.40am this morning.

I am unsure if that area is also perhaps offices. “It started very early this morning with firefighters still tackling the smoke well after 9am.
