Elton John is still recovering after injuring his hip. Appearing virtually on “Lorraine” alongside Charlie Puth, the legendary musician gave an update on his condition, explaining why he had to reschedule upcoming dates on his tour. “I wouldn’t be 100 per cent fit – I wouldn’t be 100 per cent confident because I’m in pain most of the time with my hip,” he said of attempting to perform while still recovering. “I can’t move sideways, I can’t get in and out of a car.

The decision had to be made because I wouldn’t want to go on stage and give less than 100 per cent.” He added, “I don’t know, with a year and a half of touring, how long my hip would last – it probably wouldn’t.” John also said that he’ll “make it up” to fans waiting to see him
