Elon Musk will no longer be Twitter’s CEO. The 51-year-old billionaire assumed the role after he finalized his purchase of the social media platform in late 2022.

Since then, he’s implemented a multitude of polarizing changes to the app. Things were so bad for him that millions of Twitter users actually voted that he should step down in December 2022.

While he didn’t provide a name, we know it will be a woman. “Excited to announce that I’ve a new CEO for X/Twitter. She will be starting in ~6 weeks,” he tweeted.
