Ellen Pompeo is explaining a little more about her thought process during her last full seasons at Grey’s Anatomy that caused her to reduce her role on the show.

If you don’t know, in 2023, she stepped away as a full time cast member, but still does appear in a handful of episodes per season and provides Meredith Grey’s iconic voiceovers.
