The talk show host – who has weathered a storm of criticism as of late – was on the brink of tears in the clip posted to social media, in which she discussed the horrific death of George Floyd.
Floyd, 46, was killed after a police officer was filmed kneeling on the father’s neck for eight minutes. Following his death, protests erupted around the world with thousands marching in solidarity for Black lives.
