Elle Fanning is opening up about Hulu‘s cancellation of The Great and imagining what her character would be doing next. The streamer axed the Tony McNamara-created series after three seasons.
News of the cancellation came in the middle of the SAG-AFTRA strike which kept actors from sharing their thoughts. The last 3 seasons have shaped me. Through playing Catherine I discovered parts of myself I didn’t know I had. I love every crew member and cast member deeply.” In her post, Fanning also shared what Catherine would be up to if the series had continued. “And although I won’t get to lace up my corset one last time, I am forever proud of what we accomplished together.
