The 50-year-old actress posed for photos at the a screening of her new movie Skincare on Tuesday evening (August 13) held at the Crosby Hotel in New York City. Elizabeth dazzled in a shimmering silver dress paired with a black blazer, tights, and heels as she was joined at the screening by director Austin Peters and producer Jonathan Schwartz. Keep reading to find out more…Here’s the movie’s synopsis: “Famed aesthetician Hope Goldman (Banks) is about to take her career to the next level by launching her very own skincare line, but her personal and work lives are challenged when rival facialist Angel Vergara (Luis Gerardo Méndez) opens a new skincare boutique directly across from her store.
She starts to suspect that someone is trying to sabotage her reputation and business, and together with her friend Jordan (Lewis Pullman) she embarks on a mission to unravel the mystery of who is trying to destroy her life.” In a new interview, Elizabeth recalled a “terrifying” choking incident on set of the movie.
