Javed Butt, 78, of Kersal Bank in Broughton, Salford, was charged with having a dangerous dog after his bulldog Lola broke away from her lead and attacked Stephen Wild, 64, as he walked up the driveway to the gated £750,000 property to deliver medication.
Seven-year-old Lola, who is said to be ‘protective’ of her owner, then plunged her teeth into Mr Wild’s right leg before biting his arm and attempting to maul his face.
