PC players are reportedly suffering 'stuttering' issues shortly after Elden Ring's release - and it's not their hardware's fault.
The issue, which doesn't seem to affect Xbox or PlayStation, sees players experience drastically reduced frame rate and performance.
Currently, Elden Ring has 'Mixed' reviews on Steam with the majority of negative reviews complaining about performance issues.
One reviewer wrote: "Unfortunately I have to give everyone a big warning before buying the game. "The game is not well optimised at least for the PC, and while the frame rate in enclosed areas is very stable, it will constantly stutter in open areas, from which the fame will have many, since as the trailer show, you will even be able to ride on this big world map. "Since Elden Ring is a game where you have to dodge/react to the opponent's attacks in under a second, this makes Bossfights frustrating beyond belief and honestly kinda unplayable at least in my eyes." It seems that the issue is down to Elden Ring's software, rather than a player's PC specs.
