The 34-year-old was named in United’s 21-man squad earlier on Wednesday, but he has suffered a reaction to a recent injury during today’s session and has pulled out of the squad.
Cavani will now have missed seven of United’s last eight games as he battles fitness issues that are stalling the momentum of his first season at Old Trafford. “Unfortunately, it looks like Edinson has got a bit of a reaction to training today and didn’t feel ready to travel,” Solskjaer told MUTV before departing for Milan.
