dailyrecord.co.ukEdinburgh nurse broke quarantine restrictions by turning up to work just two days after a foreign holiday. The theatre nurse, who works at a private hospital, came back from her three week trip to Bulgaria last Saturday and should have self-isolated for 14 days.
But instead she arrived at her shift at Spire Murrayfield hospital in Edinburgh, on Monday spending around half an hour there before she was asked to leave.
Staff screened her at the entrance but then asked her to go home after they found she breached the rules.A staff member, who did not want to be named, said: "Everyone knew she had just returned from her three week holiday in Bulgaria."I felt extremely anxious and fearful for patient safety."I was also scared for my own health.
