Eddie Izzard admits she has 'always had breast envy since being a teenager'

Eddie Izzard has admitted to having “breast envy” since being a teenager. The comic, 59, told of her love of boobs in an interview ahead of the release of movie a WW2 spy thriller which she stars in.

Izzard told The Guardian: “I’ve had boob envy since my teens. Just when teenage girls of my age were going ‘I want boobs’, I was thinking yeah me too.

But I couldn’t say it. "They talk about penis envy, and I believe some women suffer penis envy. I cannot for the life of me get my head around this.

But yes, I’ve always had breasts envy.” Eddie announced in December 2020 that she self-identified as gender-fluid during an appearance on Portrait Artist of the Year.
