Ed Sheeran's co-writer Ben Kweller reveals heartache as son, 16, is killed

Ben Kweller has announced the death of his 16 year old son, Dorian.The American singer and songwriter, who works closely with Ed Sheeran and was the Perfect hitmaker’s opening act on his 2019 tour, announced the heartbreaking news on Instagram yesterday, Tuesday 28 February, alongside a photograph of Dorian. “There’s no way that I can be typing this but I am….” he began. “Our son, Dorian Zev Kweller, was killed last night.

He was only 16 and he was a true legend. Kindest, gentle soul, a friend to all. If you knew him, you know. We’ll never get over him as long as we’re here on earth.
