J Balvin and Ed Sheeran may not seem a likely pairing on paper but ̶m̶o̶n̶t̶h̶l̶y̶ ̶l̶i̶s̶t̶e̶n̶e̶r̶ ̶f̶i̶g̶u̶r̶e̶s̶ musical connections are hard to deny. Today the pair are sharing two songs, billed as an EP, one of which leans into Balvin's comfort zone of party starting reggaeton ("Sigue") and another more in Sheeran's earnest balladeering wheelhouse.

Ed Sheeran and J Balvin have made for a somewhat unlikely combination, sharing two new collaborative singles.The first, ‘Sigue’ is a fiery party-starter that features both artists singing over an instrumental courtesy of superstar reggaeton producer (and frequent Balvin collaborator) Tainy. ‘Forever My Love’, on the other hand, is a much slower, acoustic-led ballad.

Sheeran is already set to take the stage alongside many other big-name acts during the March 29 concert at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, England.
