officialcharts.comEd Sheeran has replaced himself at Number 1 as Shivers overthrows Bad Habits to become the British megastar’s eighth chart topper on the Official Irish Singles Chart.
Shivers, the second single from Ed’s upcoming album =, disposes of its predecessor which falls to Number 6 after 11 weeks at Number 1.
This is the third time in Ed’s career that one of his songs has replaced another at the top of the charts. Following the release of his ÷ album in 2017, Galway Girl replaced Shape Of You at Number 1, before Shape of You reclaimed the top spot two weeks later.
Advancing five places to a new peak of Number 2 is OUT OUT by Joel Corry & Jax Jones ft. Charli XCX & Saweetie, Joel’s fifth consecutive Top 3 single.
