Ed Sheeran is opening up about life with his daughter, Lyra, in a rare interview. The 30-year-old singer-songwriter and wife Cherry Seaborn welcomed the baby girl at the end of August of 2020.

Speaking ahead of his appearance at Radio 1′s Big Weekend, he told BBC Radio 1 that Lyra isn’t the biggest fan of his music yet. “I definitely spent hours and hours in front of the mirror pretending to be essentially what I am now.

Practice makes perfect,” he says. “Now I’ll sing [my new songs] to my daughter, who’s not my biggest fan.
