Edward Christopher Sheeran, MBE (born 17 February 1991) is an English singer-songwriter. In early 2011, Sheeran independently released the extended play, No. 5 Collaborations Project. After signing with Asylum Records, his debut album, + (pronounced "plus"), was released in September 2011. It topped the UK and Australian charts, reached number five in the US, and has since been certified eight-times platinum in the UK.

The album contains the single "The A Team", which earned him the Ivor Novello Award for Best Song Musically and Lyrically. In 2012, Sheeran won the Brit Awards for Best British Male Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. "The A Team" was nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammy Awards, where he performed the song with Elton John.

Justin Drew Bieber (born March 1, 1994) is a Canadian singer, songwriter and actor. Encountered at 13 years old by talent manager Scooter Braun after he had watched the boy's YouTube cover song videos, Bieber was signed to RBMG Records in 2008. Bieber's debut EP, My World, released in late 2009, made Bieber the first artist to have seven songs from a debut record chart on the Billboard Hot 100.

Ed Sheeran scores a fourth week at Number 1 on the Official Irish Singles Chart with Bad Habits. The megastar singer-songwriter holds a lead of over 4,000 chart sales ahead of his closest competition, racking up 1.3 million streams this week.

For the first time in its chart run, Bad Habits’ nearest rival isn’t Olivia Rodrigo’s Good 4 U. That song drops to Number 3 this week, with the runner-up slot now occupied by Australian singer/rapper The Kid Laroi and Canadian popstar Justin Bieber with Stay, which lifts one place to a new peak of Number 2.

Also reaching new heights in this week’s Top 10 are German producer Jonasu with Black Magic (4), Scottish producer Calvin Harris with Tom Grennan collaboration By Your Side (8) and Becky Hill &
