EastEnders favourite James Farrar has admitted that the hard-hitting storylines he faces on the show can take a toll on him.
The soap star, who plays Zack Hudson, has tackled difficult subject matters such as HIV and stillbirth on the soap in recent months.
He told the Daily Star: "Sometimes it gets on top of you when you're doing 13-hour days. It does come home with you. But that means I'm doing my job properly.
If I didn't do that, then I wouldn't be committed enough." James, who also shared that the BBC gives him plenty of support to cope, added: "Help is always there.
