The BBC have confirmed that EastEnders will begin filming in June, but it will likely go off air first as it runs out of pre-lockdown episodes.
Director of content Charlotte Moore said that "social distancing measures will be in place", and they will be asking cast to do their own hair and make-up, while following strict guidelines to ensure the safety of the crew.
Back in March it was announced that filming had been suspended altogether, with the soap reducing the number episodes broadcast to two per week to ensure they'd be able to keep the series going amid the outbreak.
