EastEnders star to reprise role this month as she makes return to Walford
ok.co.ukEastEnders is set to shake things up once again next month, as the show's apparent penchant for nostalgic comebacks continues.
The latest returning character is set to be Emma Harding, played by Patsy Kensit. Patsy, 55, made her exit from the show back in March 2023, during a fundraiser for her character’s daughter Lola, who had a terminal brain tumour.
But now Patsy will reprise her role as Lola’s mum, appearing in upcoming scenes this month. Sources told The Mirror that Emma would be in and out of storylines in Walford. "Patsy has been back in Albert Square filming on multiple occasions this month – so it seems fans have not seen the last of Emma," the insider said. "Patsy has really impressed the bosses, and is a big hit with the rest of the cast.
She loves the show too, so she was thrilled to be asked to return as Emma. She had thought her cameo appearance at Lola’s funeral was her last on the Square." Upon first joining the hit BBC soap in December 2022 the actress shared: "I’m so excited to be visiting Walford for this storyline.
